This is just a quick update to let you know that a very short short story that I wrote has made it into the latest Readers Report over at The Rumpus. Periodically, the website asks its readers to send in short stories of 400 words or less on a given theme. The theme this time was ‘remorse’ and you can follow the link above to find the collection of short stories. Mine appears about half way down, but I would encourage you to read all of them; they present a varied and interesting mix of responses to a seemingly simple theme.
And they are also expertly illustrated. I have to take my hat off to Christina Weidman, the bandage really does look like a map of the Lake District. You have to admire that level of attention to detail. (To find out why there is a bandage that’s shaped like the Lake District, you will have to read the story!)
Please have a read by following this link.
Oh, and happy new year to you as well. I hope 2015 is a good one for you.
