Christmas starts this Saturday. (Sorry folks.) I am excited to be one of over 60 stallholders filling the Plymouth Guildhall for the Plymouth Christmas Show.
Entry is free and it is open from 10 till 5.
You will be able to find me up on the balcony, where I will be selling a range of my art and photography greeting cards, sets of my brand new Christmas cards, and mounted and unmounted prints of some of my Dartmoor art.
It would be great to see you there.
I am really looking forward to meeting and talking to as many people as possible. So far, just over a month in to this new venture, I have had some really nice feedback from people about the cards I have been producing. But it can also be a slightly isolating way of running a business – online, from home – that risks cutting me off from the people who (will hopefully) buy my art.
Getting in front of the people of Plymouth is going to be a real tonic for that, and will allow me to talk to people and find out what they like (and don’t like) in person. And, of course, sell a few sets of cards in the process. After all, I like eating, and the heating has to go on soon…
This show will also be the debut for a new set of three Dartmoor photo cards, as well as my Dartmoor art prints. Neither of these are currently available through my Etsy shop, and I am excited to find out what people think of them. Of course, like all my products, I use recycled materials wherever possible, so I can offer a green – if not a white – Christmas.
I think the art prints might just make a great Christmas present for someone… Go on, you know you want to!
Find out more about the show on the Plymouth Christmas Show website, and keep an eye on my social media to find out where else I will be appearing between now and Christmas.
