Solidarity and hope – Supporting Cornwall Hugs Grenfell

Today marks six months since the Grenfell Tower fire, a tragedy that cost the lives of dozens of residents and affected so many more.

In those six months, many people have come forward to offer what help they can to those affected by the terrible events of June 2017.

I was recently put in touch with a local, Westcountry organisation that has done much to help provide respite and – just as importantly – hope for those affected by the fire.

In the six months since June, Cornwall Hugs Grenfell and their local supporters have provided holidays for 175 survivors, neighbours, and firefighters caught up in the Grenfell fire.

When I saw that Cornwall Hugs Grenfell were looking for local artists to mark this very important week I was only too pleased to get involved and to help create an image that highlights their messages of solidarity and hope for the future.
