A brand new exhibition opened last week at the Dartmoor National Park Visitor Centre at Princetown. It celebrates the book ‘Dartmoor 365’ by John Hayward and features displays about the book’s history, as well as telling the stories of those inspired by the book.
I was really pleased to be invited to contribute my story to the exhibition, as well as several new illustrations of some of my favourite parts of the moor.
If you would like a primer on what Dartmoor 365’ing is all about (yes, it’s a thing) then please have a quick read of this earlier blog post covering that very subject.
As well as the Dartmoor 365 book, the exhibition also celebrates the new Wheelchair Access Group that has been created to help encourage and inspire people to explore the moor, so there’s lots to find out about.
The exhibition runs until 2 October and entry is free. I definitely recommend a visit, but then I am biased…
